Terms of Service

Welcome to Jempaw. These terms govern your use of our pet care companion app. Please read them carefully — by creating an account or starting a subscription, you acknowledge and agree to them.

Acceptance of Terms

  • •By creating an account or using Jempaw, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
  • •These terms apply to all users, including trial and paid subscribers.

Your Account

  • •You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • •You must be 13 or older to use the app. If you're using it on behalf of a minor, you accept responsibility for their activity.
  • •You agree not to share your account credentials with others.

Subscription & Billing

  • •Jempaw offers a paid subscription with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, your card is charged the monthly fee until you cancel.
  • •No Refunds. All subscription payments are non-refundable. Once your subscription begins (including after any free trial period), you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees already paid.
  • •End of Billing Cycle. If you cancel your subscription, access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will occur after that period ends.
  • •Cancelling turns off auto-renew — you keep access through the cycle you already paid for.

Your Content

  • •You own the pet records, photos, and notes you create in the app. We store them to provide the service to you.
  • •You are responsible for the accuracy of the health information you record. Jempaw is a tracking tool, not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.
  • •You can delete your records at any time from within the app.

Not Veterinary Advice

  • •Jempaw helps you organize pet care information. It does not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or veterinary treatment.
  • •Always consult a licensed veterinarian for health concerns about your pet. In emergencies, contact your nearest emergency clinic.
  • •The Paws Assistant is an AI helper for organizing your records — its suggestions are informational, not professional medical advice.

Acceptable Use

  • •You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer the software.
  • •We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Service Availability

  • •We strive to keep the app available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur.
  • •Features may change or be removed as the app evolves. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

  • •Jempaw is provided 'as is.' To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
  • •Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

  • •We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
